Itinerary
We start in a quiet parking area and cycle in and around the city to the founding monument of Cape Town. From here we'll trace the history from 1652 to present day. Along the way we'll pass and/or stop at numerous iconic landmarks, such as District six, The Company Gardens, The Slave lodge and many, many more. En route we'll take a bio-break at our vibrant city centre flea market where you're welcome to spend some time browsing through the artworks and handicrafts from all over Africa. We continue on to the community descended from the Malaysian slave era, then follow a route along the picturesque mountainside before heading down to the coast. After stopping for a quick snack, we head on home, along the Seapoint promenade, passing by the awesome Cape Town Worldcup stadium and through the V & A Waterfront.
This is more than just a sightseeing tour as you will see and hear first hand about the atrocities of apartheid from a guide who was directly involved at grassroots level, in the liberation of South Africa.
